Our global footprint grew by 150% between 1961 and 2003. It is now 25% above the planet's biological capacity to support life on earth.


1- Our climate is changing because of human-induced build up of CO2 in the atmosphere.

2- Waste from factory products and packaging creates disposal problems.

3- Travel by car and airplane is effecting and makes climate change, air pollution and noise pollution.

4- In construction and manufacturing, increases environmental damage and reduces benefits to local community.

5- Industrial agriculture produces food and may have high transport impacts.

6- Local supplies of freshwater meet human needs, due to pollution.

7- Loss of biodiversity due to development in natural areas and natural resource.

8-Local cultural heritage is being lost throughout the world, resulting in loss of local identify and knowledge.

9- Some in the world live in relative poverty, while many in the developing world cannot meet their basic needs from what they produce or sell.

10- Rising wealth and greater health and happiness increasingly give us longer healthy live.
